Topic: NGD Gibson Custom Shop

I had a post a few weeks ago about a used Gibson Les Paul R8 I had purchased.  I was really taken back by the quality, resonance, and tone of this guitar.  Well, you know what that caused, GAS!  My main guitars are Gibson Flying V's.  I found a white Gibson Custom Shop 1967 Re-Issue Flying V at Wildwood Guitars.  After a few e-mails with Bruce a deal was made and I took the plunge.  This Flying V weighs only 6.4 pounds and resonates just like the Les Paul.  I have to admit, I was initially very skeptical about Gibson Custom Shop guitars. But if you are a serious player they are worth the extra money if you can swing it.   I don't usually buy brand new guitars but I lost my willpower on this one.  I will try to get a picture posted this time of the R8 and the new Flying V.
