Topic: Hello from the great state of California

Huge fan of all things JB.
The music, the guitars, pedals, amps. I love it all.
Look forward to hanging out with fellow JB fans.

Re: Hello from the great state of California

Hard to pick a favorite but I would always choose a live DVD.
Joe is such a fantastic live player (as we all know) I just put in a disc and prepare to pick my chin up from the floor.
1 song that really does it for me is Tea for One.

Re: Hello from the great state of California

Welcome to the forum. What part of Cali? It's a big place. If Socal, watch for some of those special events Joe does when off tour. One coming up in a couple of weeks in Santa Barbara. There's a dedicated and active crew down here that get together for fun pre and post shows.

Re: Hello from the great state of California

Thank you all for the warm welcome.
I'm in NoCal. Sacramento,  Citrus Heights to be exact.
Where do I watch for these special events?  The wife and I love to travel the state. Santa Barbara has a great wine region and if we could mix in a JB event,  all the better. He is not playing around here till 5-6-15 but, I will be there. I got an autographed Wah pedal last time. I'd love to get an autographed Copper top fuzz.
I was able to get an Epiphone JB Goldtop but I missed the Pelham Blue LP. Didn't have the duckets this time around.  That thing was gorgeous.  Anyway, I look forward to being part of the group.

Joe B and wine. big_smile The wife and I are making a weekend of it. Still should be some tickets left. There will be a silent auction for some donated gear and the high roller option will probably have the musos joining for the preshow eats and maybe a signing opportunity. Should be fun seeing a bunch of great players having a blast jamming. Better yet  it benefits kids and music. http://www.lobero.com/events/notes-notes-2014/
