Topic: I can't believe it!...or Murphy's law rules

Okay, so apparently I picked the wrong time to go to Hawaii...Actually, I didn't even choose to go to Hawaii...sent there for company convention...but, of course, as Murphy's law would have it...That's when the Joe tickets went on sale and, apparently I missed the pre sale e-mail....or, for some reason, I didn't get one...Anyway...the point is ...I get back to discover Joe is indeed coming back to Oregon, but all the good seats are gone...and this is coming from someone who has done promotions for Joe for the last 4 tours and I always seem to get a seat in the first 3 rows....so...uuummm...uggghhh....Oh well, I should count my lucky stars I have a binder full of signed pics, but well, you fanatics can understand my extreme disappointment in my stupidty! Well...I could always pay the scalped price, but I'm strongly against it, so it looks like this time around I may be forced to skip the show...I will say that I'm proud of Joe's continued upward spiral, but it comes with some bumps in the road...whattya do ? The one saving grace here is that Joe pretty much tours more than anyone I know...I saw him twice this spring already...Oh well...love ya Joe...See ya on the next tour..I am so stupid

Re: I can't believe it!...or Murphy's law rules

Hi Murf, no it's not stupidity!  Who could have known J&R's timing?

It's pretty much the same here, only unfortunately no Hawaii to soften the blow.

I had decided definitely to go to Vegas this time, mainly to see Joe's new format and especially to meet as many Bonafans as possible, particularly those from the West coast, after getting to "know" so many here on the Forum.  Was so excited and felt it was well worth the expense.  But, in the meantime my mother sold her condo in Florida and I was away for nearly 2 weeks moving her out.  Such a punch in the stomach when I returned and realized the presale was over and no good seats anywhere.  Also had tried to buy Radio City to participate in Joe's significant milestone, but no good seats to be had after many many tries.

Take heart.  You never know.  Tickets can pop up on the Forum when other's plans change last minute.  Good luck to us and everybody else in the same boat!

I need some Joe...NOW.
