Wish I lived closer to Cali! That should be a great show!!

Would love to go to this especially since it's right at my birthday, but we have a Beth Hart trifecta at that same time. Kind of wondering also whether it'll turn out like the benefit show last January, where Joe was supposed to headline with Robben Ford, yet there were so many acts that Joe only played 3 songs. Should be a great bunch of music, though, no matter what so no doubt whoever is going will have fun.

Ahh you would hate it. It gets way down in the 40's sometimes which cuts ino my backyard January bbq action. I had to plant a tree that shed its leaves so Helen would know when it was Winter. She's from Minn. and knows what Winter is.

Booked tix and hotel. Some Joe music and then some wineries are in the plans on a long weekend.

I saw Joe do an acoustic set for this same charity opening for Los Lobos a couple years ago. The Lobero theater is a small beautiful old theater in Santa Barbara and a great place to see shows. They had a charity auction in the lobby; I got a JB Fuzz face and Joe signed it back in the garden area. Notes for Notes is a really cool charity. They setup studios and rehearsal halls for kids to come too and learn and do music for free. I gave them a bunch of beginner guitars/amp kits and a couple amps. The Seymour Duncan folks and some others put this on each year and it is a fun show and goes for a greta cause. If you can swing it the backstage tickets are the way to go. They have food and drinks and you hang out with the musicians before and after the show. It was my wifes 1st time meeting Joe; she is even a bigger fan than I am. She really enjoyed the show and meeting Joe made her night. I highly recommend this show.

We're checked in with a 6 block stroll via the park to the venue, weather a cloudless 80 degrees.
