Still catching my breath !!
Emily(daughter) came again. didn't want to miss it.
The 2 support acts were outstanding.
Noticed a different twang to Joes voice from last tour.
Also a couple of little nuances in the first song Woke Up Dreaming (Led Zep ?) loved it.
I don't know if it was my 50+ year old ears but I found the bass or drum was distorting and drowning the other musicians out in the acoustic set... pity... Did anyone else notice ? or was it just me...
The powered set however...  Oh Baby....
New songs.... (got to get that new CD!).
Unlike last tour he and the band ripped into the songs big time (John Henry for one). The effort is appreciated Joe.
And the finale ... I was geared towards... Ok  lets have the Just Got Paid.. No!! it was Mountain Time !.... glorious.
Finished all too soon...

Well... another 2 years of saving up the pennies ha ha ...

Glad you had a great time! I also notice Joe has a little more twang in his voice these days. It's quite amazing how much his voice has changed over the years. I love his raw raspiness in his earlier work, but I think his voice has become so smooth and easy on the ears. Hopefully he plays a few new songs on the US tour! Common November!
