Topic: U2 giving away for free new album!!!

As i was looking in my itunes music library, i've found a new album from U2 that i have not purchased!

Turns out that for a limited period of time the album will be free for all itunes users. You can play it or download it from the cloud in your itunes app.

Just as it happens here for Joe, i think they know that they huge fan-base will still purchase the new album, we all want to have everything our favorite artists put out, but with this move they will reach millions of people that otherwise would have never  listened to one of their new songs.

I have to admit that after their last albums, that said nothing to me compared to other great albums such as the Joshua Tree or Achtung Baby, i wasn't that much interested in a new U2 album, but now i'm listening to it.

The fact is that in the last years i've listened to Joe, John Mayer, Warren Haynes, Gov't Mule, Ben Harper, Tedeschi/Trucks, Gary Clark Jr and now this kind of U2 music doesn't seems to fit in very well...But there's always space for good music, let's see if they can still make it! smile
