F/S Marshall 4001 Studio 15 combo - UK seller

Rare Marshall valve combo that was only made from 1986 – 1992. Only 500 units were produced in total.

The only Marshall ever made to using 6V6 valves, and the first Marshall to feature Celestion 12'' Vintage 30 speaker. Used by Martin Barre of Jethro Tull, and a favourite in recording studios due to the direct output which could be fed straight into a mixing desk. The Studio 15 has a master volume for true Marshall distortion at domestic volumes, and it even has a built in attenuator for late night practice sessions. Many players agree that the amp is great for small gigs, and for larger gigs it can be mic’d and/or di’d and used it as a monitor.

I have owned this amp for 18 years and the serial number (y34680) dates it to 1990. It is in great condition with no damage or tears and has the original celestion speaker and the original white vinyl cover . The amp has never been gigged by me. This is an opportunity to own a very rare Marshall amp that can only increase in value (imho).
