I believe he is recording with Mahalia Barnes (Jimmy Barnes' daughter).

well acording to Twitter..
He blew up 2 Fender Twin Reverb's so I guess he'll have to go shopping down there for something new

Stayed some weeks abroad but I read somewhere about a new JB CD, only with self written songs on it, no covers. Release date round about 22, Sept. Forgot the exact title, something with "Blue" at the end. My thought was: 3 days before I will be on his concert in Mannheim there will be a new CD out.
Am I totally wrong?

No you are totally right, Anna. 
There's been plenty of chat about the new CD from Joe on the thread further down this forum.
Here's the thread.
As Patty has pointed out, Joe is in Aus to make yet another guest appearance on someone else's CD. He's a very busy boy nowadays who's much in demand.

Thanks clearing it up for me, Phil. Mahalia twittered that 4 songs were done and 8 more to go. There was a pic with her band the Soul Mates and Joe just being busy. Can't post it ( IPad).

Well, it's been such a busy year! I'm in Sydney now and have just finished the most amazing and funky record with Mahalia Barnes and the Soul Mates - featuring my good bud Joe Bonamassa (who had his work cut out for him!). Really slamming! I think people haven't heard this stuff in a long while!

Please keep us posted as to title of album and when we might expect to see it available. We have come to know anything involving Joe and Kevin is going to be quality entertainment.
The only thing we deserve, is an opportunity. Everything else has to be earned.
