I just noticed that.  He also has it listed under "News".

Also, check out the Home Page.  The new cover of "Vintage Guitar Magazine" with Joe on the cover.

Damn such a shame- I can't believe how much that must suck to lose... I'd be pissed if I lost any old guitar- but that one was custom made for him!  Hope you find it Joe!

Re: Check the Announcement banner/ Thanks Webmaster

I noticed that the search has expanded. I have seen at least 3 posts on other sites alerting people about Joe's missing guitar, the most recent one was on some Harley site and I believe I saw mention on a Clapton site. This is th power of networking at it's best.
I'm sure that the shipment was tracked to find out how/where it disappeared, but it sure seems like it could be pinpointed, depending on the shipping method. Most of these places (say UPS for instance) know where the package is at all times. I would think they could tell WHERE and WHEN it disappeared, narrow it down to who was working there and then GET THE RUBBER HOSES OUT and make them talk!!!

Not to be too cynical, but it makes you think there's a fairly high likelihood that it was an "inside job" by someone involved in the shipment process.
