Topic: Location, Location, Location - a new game

Anyone in the mood for a new game? Tough!

They say location is everything, so how many song titles can you think of that are addresses? Not just place names like Winchester Cathedral, but written as a proper address, fictional or otherwise; the fuller the better but postal/zip codes not necessary.

Here's a couple of starters:-

157 Riverside Ave - REO Speedwagon (from REO Speedwagon)
22 Acacia Avenue - Iron Maiden (from Number Of The Beast)

Album titles such as 461 Ocean Boulevard get half marks.

That should give the ol' grey matter a good work-out.

First one that came to mind, but you beat me to it.

I'll take the half mark for the album title. My Mom's favorite cassette, worn out driving around in her Chevy Cavalier.

1100 Bel Air Place - Julio Iglesias

Re: Location, Location, Location - a new game

How about Ventura Blvd?  I've no street number, though.

And Thunder Road?  Very difficult for me to think of any with street numbers!

I'm addicted.

Re: Location, Location, Location - a new game

Tough topic. Must be some more of course.

Randy Houser's new album had a Mississippi address:
Route 3,  Box 250 D,

Lonely Street - - Elvis, Heartbreak Hotel.  Probably doesn't count?

I'll give you a point for Heartbreak Hotel, as a place name rather than an address. Going for addresses in the lyric, you could mention Crowded House's Weather With You:-

Walking 'round the room singing Stormy Weather
At 57 Mount Pleasant Street

I'm surprised nobody has tried farms yet, example Parchman Farm (Blues).....

Couple more, though without the house numbers:-
Across 110 Street - Bobby Womack
59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' groovey) - Simon & Garfunkel

13 Chester Street - The Pretty Things

Yeah, but so is Big Pink.  But, without the street numbers, Brother Banshee's mail requests are undeliverable, return to dead-ender...

Re: Location, Location, Location - a new game

Hope this isn't driving everyone "postal" yet. I didn't realise it was going to be as tricky as it is, but certainly giving the little grey cells a good work out.

Here's a few more I've found:-

3744 James Road - Groundhogs
59 Chrystie Street - Beastie Boys
144 Brooklyn Place Mansions - Outside
1101 Woodland - Jimmy Dawkins
2300 Jackson Street - The Jacksons

East 24th Ave - Billy Graham & The Escalators
52nd Street - Billy Joel (album title)
53rd & 3rd - The Ramones
Villiers Terrace - Echo & The Bunnymen
