Been a while since i last posted,and not sure if y'all are interested -anyhoo-got prostate cancer early in the year,a niggle and pestering by family to get checked lead to the prognosis of cancer WITHIN the gland itself.Take this out,cured.So the docs say anyway,we'll see along the way.got the op early july,and still off work,likely to be 7 weeks total.Lucky to catch it early,lucky i doesn't seem to have spread anywhere else,lucky to be young and fit enough (the docs' words NOT mine!!) to get over the longer effects of the removal.Thanks for listening,can't wait to see joe in september-edinburgh,hopefully-and welcome Derek Sherinian!! Very sorry to hear about your illness.  That is very scary and and quite a struggle to go through.
But I am very happy that you caught it and you are on the road to recovery.  Thanks for sharing your story here as there are others on this forum that have been through what you are going through. 

A good dose of that Joe Bonamassa medicine in September will be just what the doctor order.  Enjoy!

Wow,thanks for all the good wishes chaps/esses.Just shows you what a great bunch of folks joe has for fans,on this site, in the audience at each gig,-much appreciated,be back at work on the 27th of this month,back to my full wage...'Statutory Sick Pay' sucks!! Thanks again!

Keep the Faith!  I found Joe's music when I was battling Thyroid Cancer.   Now I feel better than I have in years and I have Joe forever.

I will keep your recovery in my prayers.  Be sure to grasp all the golden moments you can everyday.

Celebrate the good and let the rest go.

Keep posting often, this is a great place for support and we don't mind to help you thru the tough spots.
