self promotion is quite OK Lewis, we call it sharing. Welcome to the forum, great to have another artist on board. I really like it and your voice is good, very easy on the ears. hope it does well for you, tell us how and where to order it please. Enjoy the company here, we love all things blues.

not just to pick one song, but Trust in Me sounds a lot like John Mayer, which is a good thing. wink

You are a very good musician Lewis. I reviewed the Jock's Juke Joint cd's , you play on as well, for www.bluesmagazine.nl . Duncan arranged it. Great Cd's!

Hope your new Cd is that good too and more people get interested in the great bluesmusic that's coming from Scotland these days!!

Lewis, sorry but I can't access YouTube from work...

Anyway, welcome to the Forum.  So can we assume you are a big Joe fan??

Stick around and join in!

No introduction needed Lewis. The Aberdeen contingent on here know your music well smile

No stranger (just) south of the border either - looking forward to getting my hands on the new album pretty soon.

Re: Lewis Hamilton - Ghost Train (Scottish Blues Rock)

Bit of a plug but Lewis and his band will be special guest of Virgil and the Accelerators for the two scottish gigs:

16th Oct The Ferry, Glasgow.
17th Oct Voodoo Rooms, Edinburgh.

A great night for the price of 2 - 3 pints smile

Re: Lewis Hamilton - Ghost Train (Scottish Blues Rock)

My copy of the album came during my down-time; had plenty of spins and have to say, it's a cracker.

Can't say any track isn't a good listen, but standouts for me are Cheap Cigars and Down To The River, the outro solo on the latter just rips your ears off. Some great interplay with Lyndon Anderson's hot harp on Whisky Boogie is worth the price of the CD too.
