Great News!!!

Swiss Television SF2 shows a 55 minutes part of Bonammassa´s acoustic set at the Montreux-Festival 2012!!
00:45 (MET) SF2

Hope the encore is part of the show - I read - in this forum - it was Hadrians Wall !!!

This is only a TV-show and the only way to see is Swiss-Tv and maybe Youtube...

I would love to be able to see that whole show again. My sons did a few short video clips when we were there, not full length of any song. Wish I had a camera on that trip. The Hadrian's Wall was really cool, but Joe's voice was a little tired and strained at that point being that it was at the end of the show. It seems like a difficult song to sing in a no amp acoustic setting. I wonder if that's why he didn't continue to play it on the tour. So glad we heard him do it, since he hasn't done it since. No way you are a freak, Wolf, if so then I am too.

Joe's RAH was playing on our local PBS last summer when I discovered Joe.  After a couple weeks I suddenly came to realize the last airing was scheduled for the next day at 4:00 a.m., my last chance to "tape" it.  So not trusting myself to do the pre-recording set-up, I set my alarm for 3:55 to push the "Start recording" button on the old VCR.  Originally intended to go back to bed but couldn't pull myself away and watched it through for the umteenth time.  One problem is that I had to keep the volume down so as not to wake the apartment neighbors, boo.

Great, versions, different to the Vienna Show.
Sad that "Battle of Hadrians Wall" and "Sloe Gin" are not in that selection neutral

It's too bad they didn't release the entire show since they filmed the whole thing and it wasn't that long anyway. The setlist was shorter than Vienna since it was a festival, 16 songs instead of 20. And that Sloe Gin was incredible, especially seeing it done in that totally different acoustic way for the first time. The whole show was just magical.
