Vintage Guitar Cover (Page 3 of 3)

My frowns have now turned into   As I giggled with glee, 2 issues in hand, showing to my gal pals, a young man looking at other guitar mag, puts his down, looks at what I got and picks himself up a copy.  (Cracked me up)  Get up to the check out counter and the clerk says,  "Excuse me, do you know you have two copies of that?"  I was still laughing and said," I would buy the whole darn stack, but I should leave some for others to read about Joe!"  She then looks at my purse and says, "Well there he is on your keychain with that same guitar!"  and then she cracked up when I opened my wallet and there was another picture of Joe......... I just might have a problem...........  

    Now prior to this I was at an afternoon bank party at The Market and had 4 Joe shows to give out to some of the "hipper" employees.  My new friends Molly & Holly left with BIG SMILES on their faces.  I will be anxious to hear what they think.  I think I am pretty safe in saying that there will be some more Joe fans "born tonight."

Well....I was visiting the Border's Bookstore in Des Moines last night and looking thru guitar mags in search of any Joe material when I overheard two guys talking about the latest issue of Vintage Guitar with Gary Moore on the cover.  Then I hear one of them say, "Hey, look in the Reader Mail section, there's a letter from some gal in Indianola, IA (12 miles south of Des Moines) on last months Joe Bonamassa cover. " Now I'm thinking I know some crazy Joe Bonamassa fan in Indianola.....ME !   I was so tickled that they put my letter in and they had a cool "caricature" of Joe next to it !!!  Luv ya' Joe !       pattyluvsjoe

Goin to kinkos tonight, got a Borders accross the street, think I'll look you up, will you sign my mag. if i buy it?...lol.. thats cool, your a huge fan, it's only fitting!

Hey Patty, that is so cool!!!  That is really something that you heard them talking about it too...  What did you say in the letter?

Just how great & nice Joe is and to get to a live show and thanked them for doing a cover.

Who knew Joe considered having an afro???
