I am furious over this. Joanne was kicked of unpaid by the promotor. Left stranded 8 hours from the airport, with no transport. Ruff records stepped in a paid a fortune to rescue band. The promotor was Jimmy's father. Keep it in the family eh! I am a true believer in what goes around comes around...........

Any other acts left stranded and stiffed at that gig or just JST?
edit: a quick search found this. "Due to un-forseen circumstances, The Blues Caravan Canadian tour has been cancelled. Ruf records, Joanne Shaw Taylor and Bart Walker would like to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. The blues Caravan will resume as scheduled in Chicago on June 13th. Jimmy Bowskill will no longer be appearing on the 2013 tour his replacement will be announced shortly."
KaBoom by Ruf? JST band was one of the highlights of the Doheny fest with her (pickup ?) band from Chicago who were great.
