Topic: Hello from Ohio

New to the site.  Hard core FAN.  I have yet to see Joe Live.  Going to the Cleveland ohio gig in November.  I have played guitar all of my live and Joe blew me away.  I couldn't get the stupid grin off of my face.  I caught the his acoustic show on Paladia.  I loved every second of it!
    I really think he is one of the best I have ever seen.  I am an old fart and have seen some kick but guys, Jimmy Page and Jeff beck just to name a few.  Man would I love to sit down and jam with him.  He could teach me tons .
    Any to joe I say keep on playing and keep the stupid grin of appreciation on my face and I can't wait to see him in November.  Does anyone know if the Show in cleveland will be the acoustic show?

Hi chris!!  So glad you found us.  And always nice to add another player too.  Stick around and enjoy the other out-of-control Joe fans.  Whereabouts in Ohio are you?  And how did you discover Joe?

I will be at the Nov. 2 Cleveland show as well!!  woo hoo.  And I know of at least 7 other Forum members so far who will be going too.

Cleveland will probably be a mix of acoustic (5 or 6 numbers) and the rest electric - at least that has been Joe's pattern over the last year+.  Of course, he surprises from time to time, so we never know.  I doubt it will be 100% acoustic though.

We all will be trying to meet up before the show so I look forward to seeing you there.   smile

Thanks for the welcome.  I first heard about Joe from a fellow Albert and B.B. king fan.  Then I was looking up a song on you tube and there was a post of Joe playing With Clapton.  The thing on Paladia just blew me away as I am a big acoustic fan.
