I knew that Hendrix, Rod Stewart, and even Janis Joplin didn't write a lot of their own tunes... the others were pretty good. I hate articles like this when I know most of them. lol

I can’t load your list but the biggest surprise cover I ever heard of was The Green Manalishi - written by Peter Green and covered so supremely by Judas Priest. And I just discovered that little tidbit last year!

It loaded for me but was no picture in the window where the artist was featured but if you click on arrow to go to next artist, it worked. Not sure if that's how it initially came up when you clicked on the link.
