I recall there was a mention of another production run but they would not be copper?

Thx for the link, I like the copper color ones better I.M.O.
These are already shipping. While I prefer the copper, I would take the black.
Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't there only 300 of the copper Version of this pedal? This one is 2000 and its the same price at the copper.
I thought the copper was a run of 1,000.
If you check out the PDF manual on the dunlop site, it has it out of 1,000.
OK, then its 1000. Still seems like they should have made this one cheaper since its not copper, and there is 2000 available.
Copper 2011 run was 1000
Copper 2012 run was 2500
Looks like the 2013 Black run will be 2000
So these are the exact same sounding as the copper ones?
From what I understand it is the same inside. I hadn't heard of any internal changes. Just cosmetic ones.

I as a businessman and light manufacturer, strongly disagree. They sold out the first run, sold out the second run, now there is demand for a third. I would raise the price since demand exceeds supply. Simple business practice says raise the price until demand drops, then back it off a tad. They would sell at substantially more than asked now no matter the color.
They can raise the price all they want...after I buy one at $199
My point is they basically did raise the price. The casing has to be cheaper then copper. So they are building these cheaper and they are selling for the same price. Cast Aluminum is cheap compared to copper. Both would have cost you $200 new. From a business stand point Dunlop is going to be cashing in on these pedals more so then the last 2 batches.
very good point and there won't be a patina on the newer ones.
