Topic: Put Barfuss Greeny pickup set in my Gibson JB LP Studio

...and this one was one of the greatest things I've done lately.
David Barfuss is a German pickup maker and he certainly knows his stuff.

This set is trying to get close to Peter Green sort of tones with middle position wiring out of phase bridge and neck pickups.

But the real gem in the set besides the middle position is the neck pickup. Full with just the right amount of sparkle.

Great PAF tones and sound like made for the JB Studio smile

Couldn't help it and recorded something quick and dirty (please, excuse the midnight recording junkie errors)

I've just done the green/Moore pick up mod in my R8 (BB1 neck pup)the other day, only took about half an hour too do, and the result was amazing smile wish i done it years ago
