Topic: Frankie Starr

Frankie is a local Cleveland (OH) guy, so I'm not sure how far out his following goes, but he's a great blues player who has played with Phil Keaggy at least a few times. He's got killer tone and a real nice guy.

Re: Frankie Starr

Excellent player! Not sure if that was a 333, headstock looked glossy and not satin like a 333. Great tone outta that thing. Liked his phrasing too. Band seemed just ok, but him; talented.

He'd be a good act to open to Crossroads festival. Much better than the crap I've seen featured on the website so far.

Re: Frankie Starr

I think he was playing an 80's 335 there... he does a bunch of demo's on his youtube page. I'm pretty sure he has some pretty bad back problems, I haven't seen him out gigging in quite some time now.
