From your recommendation Curby, treated myself to Little Hurricane's debut album Homewrecker.
Odd little album this, to me has a home-recorded feel to it, complete with production no-nos, but has a depth and charm. San Diego pair Anthony Catalano and Celest Spina are going to draw obvious comparisons to White Stripes especially on "Crocodile Tears", but they're using Stripes as a foundation to build something fresh. One moment they're lulling your with gentle acoustic slide, the next its like having waves pounding inside your head.
Great slice of Americana/blues and a band I'd be watching/hoping for popping up over here
When life gives you lemons; don't make lemonade.
Give back the lemons. Why were the lemons free? What's wrong with the lemons?
Do Not trust the lemons...
