Topic: Joe's Signature Fuzz Face missing

I just counted up my after Xmas cash and I logged on here to order one of Joe's Fuzz Face pedals, and its no longer for sale.  I also checked Sweetwater and they say its "no longer available".    Guitar Center doesn't have any either.

Does anyone know the story on these?  I have been reading good reviews.  Did one of these land mines explode or what?  They were for sale everywhere just 30 days ago.

I finally have the cash for one and now can't find one.   

I know Joe still uses his as it was on his pedalboard at Fort Wayne show in November.   I am pretty much a Les Paul player with a couple ES 335s I play also.   His is made specifically for Les Pauls. 

Man I hope I didn't blow a chance to get this pedal. sad

Searching google, had to go to the 7th page to see one for sale from a retailer (if stock is in real time)....in AUSTRALIA!!!  Looks like a legit retailer...but overseas...and $299, which I think is a buck or so over US street price.

The pedels are a limeted run. Try Bonamassa Guitars.

I fully expect the one on ebay to be at full price by auction end and am willing to pay full price.   THere are no more to be had.    If ANYONE wants to let loose of their's at the original purchase price please let me know.

The one on Ebay went for 337.97  US dollars..  More than I could afford to bid.

They were going for 199.99 a week ago new.

Sold mine. Couldn't wrap my head around a fuzz pedal. The JB Fuzz was my first, and I never worked it into my every day rig. More of a toy than an integral piece of my tone... and for that price I couldn't justify keeping it.

I can vouch for how it sucks when what you want isn't available but hopefully you'll find something else. There are so many fuzz pedals out there as with other effect pedals. And of course you know if and when you buy something else the one you want will turn up for sale somewhere.

I did exactly the same thing. Saved up and then they weren't available. I was lucky enough to find one on Ebay last year for around £165. It's worth tracking down though, great pedal. Best of luck finding one.

So...is it a yearly limited quantity or is it just a limited quantity? I didn't mind paying that amount of money thinking it was a limited quantity of JBFF that were going to be made. Don't get me wrong, I love the tone but there are other pedals that do the same for less.
