Topic: Wilson T King

Someone who was recently recommended to me, Wilson T King. Some stunning guitar work and a very unique sound.

Certainly one of my top albums of 2012.

Re: Wilson T King

I'm out tonight drinking and seeing Boscoe France again and can't check if I have anything by Wilson.  Think I do.  I do pay attention to your shouts though and glad you're around Murray.

Re: Wilson T King

I give this album 10 out of 10. Stunning guitar that reminds me of Robin Trower sometimes. If anyone has the Classic Rock blues mag, he has the song Vigilante Man on the Bluesbreakers cd.

Very highly recommended. I don't download but had to for this album. Miss at your peril.

Re: Wilson T King

King's album made my top 12 for 2012, as well. He's a fierce player.

Great tip guys. Just had a listen to album, then purchased, (you can stream the entire album on his website for a preview). Exceptional tone with the guitar. Again thanks for the advice. I love this blog, have heard of several great guitarists lately. Keep up spreading the good word.

Re: Wilson T King

I like it, son likes it and he's a big Trower fan so it's on our short list to obtain ASAP. Thanks for posting him.

As corn through a goose, so are the days of our lives

Re: Wilson T King

I bought the download when it was first released on Bandcamp:

I've been playing it a lot. Superb musicianship and well crafted compositions. For all the noise on FaceBook, sometimes you come up with a gem.

And after further repetitive listening over the last 24 hours, it is even more impressive, the best album I've heard in some time. Definitely give it a 10/10.
