Topic: Scale Question

Hi everyone,

I was listening to mountain time live at beacon theatre, and there was this little bit I really loved, it seems like Joe keeps playing in a major scale, but for this little bit he changes to another one... could you tell what it is (I was thinking of a sort of minor scale?).

You can hear it at 9:08

Thanks!

I'd second this. Joe is just playing the minor of the key the song is in. It fun to do on ballads in Major keys. I used to do sometimes it on Knockin' On Heaven's Door when my old band played it.
