Topic: Wanted new drive, couldn't get it, had to build it

Now, I was looking for Lovepedal COT50, being a drive addict lately. It seems it is no longer made and AMP50 which is supposed to replace it didn't sound quite the same (at least based on the YouTube videos, which is always to be taken with grain of salt anyhow).
So I decided to put it together and had tagboards laying around, so did it sort of "old fashioned mojo way" smile Don't know whether it makes any difference to the sound, but it looks cool and sounds even cooler.
That's a great drive. If you can snap one of eBay, I highly recommend it. Just thought I'd share, knowing everyone always looks to find another choice of drive and that's endless so hope it will be of some use.

looks quite nice, very "boutique-like" build.
