Apparently, the guys fell foul of the 11 O'clock curfew - and had to drop 'Satisfaction'
Well one can dream cant they.Sounds like a killer set!

Yes, but weren't most of their "hits" under 3 minutes for the old "radio rule?"
First concert I ever went to - Boston Garden, Rolling Stones in 1969 - Get Yer Ya-Ya's out. It was a great show (BB King was the opener). They're still at it - not bad for a bunch of older folks.

Love the Stones. It was the music for bad behavior back in the day. Right now I'm watching the Stones with Muddy Waters, from a 1981 out of Chicago. Nasty Blues like it was meant to be played. Long live the Rolling Stones! Cathy
Sadly I wasn't there but I did hear that they played for 2 hours 25 mins, which even if they did play the hits for 3-5 mins gave them plenty of scope to lengthen the album tracks. Midnight Rambler, for example, stretched to 10 mins.
Cathy, we had that Stones with Muddy Waters show on BBC TV on Saturday night! Makes me feel we aren't so far apart.
On a picky note (I must have caught it from George ) the reviewer in the link Kenny posted doesn't seem to know the difference between St Louis Jimmy Oden’s Going Down Slow and Don Nix's Goin' Down.

Just on Eric Clapton's site looking for ticket info for Nashville and ran across this short blurb about Eric joining the Stones on stage in London earlier tonight. Not much detail other than they played Muddy Waters Champagne & Reefer
