Topic: Post show reviews for Nov. 17th

Given the sold out show I know there were alot of true fans in the audience. Just wondering how many from here? I think there was one sitting just behind me in section L6 (we were in Row E) but they left before I got a chance to find out after the show ended.

The concert went from 8pm to 9:30 with the encore ending at 10:10.

Having been my first live show - after watching 4 of his DVD concerts more than once - it was everything I hoped for. Just seems to go by too fast!

I was there. The show was incredible. I was in section L1 row J.
It was my first time seeing Joe. Couldn't have asked for a better show.
Going to try hard to get tickets for the Casino Rama show in May and hopefully meet and greet passes because I wasn't sure how to get them for this show. Unless they sold out before I got my tickets.
Cheers to Joe and the band for a stellar performance!

Wife and I were there in row M. This was our second show and we also loved it. Kind of like the way he started out with an acoustic set and conga drums. The sets were entirely different than Ithaca last year. He really did a change up on Sloe Gin maybe not my most favorite renditions but I can understand it must get a bit monotonous night after night.

Re: Post show reviews for Nov. 17th

Based on my experience at the Toledo show, I agree with the Sloe Gin comment.  The power of the song was kinda sapped by the new arrangement.  Usually I love different interpretations, but this one didn't ring true for me.

Great show! BTW does anyone have the setlist from the Toronto show? It would be much appreciated. Thanks.

INCREDIBLE!!!
This is the only word I can come up with to describe his enthusiasm, showmanship and Skill.
This concert was worth every penny I paid.
Can't wait until May 2013 to see Joe again.
Keep coming to Canada, Joe... You are welcome here anytime!

Ditto, fantastic! Two of my favorites, Happier Times and If Heartaches Were Nickels were missing, but can't have everything!

The only problem I had was the volume. Roy Thomson Hall has very good acoustics while CasinoRama (where I have prime tickets for May) does not. Joe's advice is "loud, but not too loud". Well at times, the mixer forgot the message and it was all noise. This was a letdown to me in terms of the momentum of the show, sort of like "sigh....d@mn". Some bands need noise to hide imperfections. Joe and his band have no such things, so its not right! My opinion anyway. I'm "concerned" for CasinoRama.
