Topic: NGD:Just bought a brand new epi JB signature for 400 bucks

Cant believe how lucky i was today.. big_smile
The local guitar dealer announced they would have an evening with lots of  good deals today. So i went down, but didn't  expect anything interesting. It was about 20 people waiting to get in the door with me when they opened. We all rushed in and the first thing i see when i enter the shop is the Bonamassa Epiphone with a big paper that said 50 percent discount.. I ran towards it and grabbed it before anyone else could get near it.. A few people looked at me and obviously thought i was crazy, but i paid with the biggest grin ever, and have been sitting home for 4 hours playing now..^^ Lets say it's a big improvement from my old Squire strat.. big_smile

I've got one that looks suspiciously like that (except for the headstock) - and I *still* wouldn't pass up a deal like that - SCORE indeed! smile

thanks guys!
Now i have played a few hours, and here are a little review
compared to my Squire Strat witch i paid exactly the same for about 1 year ago the JB LP is much better in every way.

-The neck is bigger. I have very big hands so this suits me good.
-The JBLP has a lot better acoustic sound than the strat.
-No tremolo. stays in tune big_smile
-Very good pickups
-It's properly intonated
-and last but not least. I have found out i'm a Les paul guy tongue

Fantastic instrument in every way, and well worth the money. Epiphone have clearly good quality control.

Wow nice price for a nice guitar.  I stuck a pair of Joe's Seymour Duncan pickups in mine and it sounds awesome.

Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.
