Saw Eric Steckel last night at the Cabin Fever Blues Bash in Hagerstown, MD. First time seeing him and Wow! what a great show and amazing guitarist he is. He has so much energy and enthusiasm on stage and his solos are just killer! He played 4 songs off the "Dismantle the Sun" album.
1. Funk C Funky Do
2. I'll Play The Blues For You
3. Mary Had A Little Lamb
4. Love Me or Leave Me
5. She's Nineteen Years Old
6. Day Drinkin
7. Little Red Rooster
8. Ghetto
9. We're Still Friends
10. Mississippi River
11. Outlaw
12. Little Wing
I filmed everything but "Ghetto". Favorites of the night for me were "We're Still Friends" which starts nice and slow and then builds in intensity and then when you think it's over he still went off on this jam for 4 more minutes. "She's Nineteen Years Old" which featured a great back and forth between Eric and his keyboardist, Robert Sands. It was a perfect situation for filming. Front row seats, perfect lighting and he doesn't move around a whole lot when he plays which makes him easier to capture
