What's the pedal christmas gift of the year?
whoops. I think I polled this topic wrong. the FET was supposed to be a choice.
The new FET pedal & Giggity & King of Tone & a Carol Ann OD2 (simple the better), if you ask me ....
Like to hear the FET when it comes out. Otherwise I don't need anymore pedals. Happy with what I have and like the George L's cable cause I can make my own specific length and my board always looks pro.
I think the little lady is going to get me one of the wah pedals to add to my collection
Now, as in what other folks on my Christmas list are getting, lol, I got a bunch of pedals on trade a few weeks ago, still new in the box, so it looks as if im gonna "re-gift" a few of those!!

For me, it'll have to be the Scott Mckeon Fuzz pedal
Jimmy Page wiring harness for me.
...and maybe another LP.
JB wah would be nice ;D

I got push/pull pots put in my '72 Custom when I was 16. I never use it in a gig setting. The stock humbuckers needed to be switched to 4 conductor, and I never got back the original pots. Plus, when you tap the coil, you get half the output... It's not a really worth while thing to do. If you turn up at single coil, you'd have to turn back down as soon as you switch back. You might as well just have two guitars.
IMHO
But you can get really diffrent sound in middle position both pick's on and another is split

I have BK Mules in it which come with 4con wiring. The pots in it now aren't great and not smooth to turn. I like messing and I like the sounds he gets from live boots...I know when he's switching, but cool tones available.

Yeah...dead on...and the out of phase option is the bigger deal...not so simple single coil taps on their own...
Boss RC 3 for me as I have just accquired a Boss DS1 MIJ from the early 80's for just £18 on flea bay
definitely the FET Driver or Sparkle Drive mod...
I'm hankering after the new Flashback X4
I know your against new Gibson LP but the new Standards basically have that wiring harness stock. 2 coil splits 1 phase and 1 that bypasses everything and goes straight to a bridge humbucker.
I've been using a Traditional Pro at my main gigs a lot lately and love it. At first I hated the guitar because the bass notes sounded weird, so I thinned the saddles down which got me half way to a decent bass note, and last I top wrapped. I'm convinced if you have a nashville bridge it should be top wrapped. But the push pull pots coil split both humbuckers nicely and if your amp isn't too distorted gives you a nice telecaster bright sound or at least close to it. The in between position is good but its not fender good a series/parellel push pull pot would fix that. I would say I coil split 40% of our show that we play.

Get my 70's Wah Master repaired.....it stopped working...The 70's Cry baby is still going strong
