Everyone is born a genius, but the process of living de-geniuses them.

Re: Neal Schon

I luv me some Neil.  Highly under-rated.  One of the hardest working musicians out there.

This is my favorite track off his new album  Jan, Neil and Steve"Machine Gun" Smith.  How Awesome is this?

Still deciding about the album though. I like it, but it's more of a pick and choose tuneage for me.  I prefer his earlier solo albums and other projects.

"Holy Toledo"  -  Bill King   "Just Win Baby" - Al Davis  "The Autumn Wind" - Steve Sabol

Re: Neal Schon

neal is awesome but this new album just hasnt clicked for me......i listen to alot of instrumental music so im used to that style and love it......but this album seems to meander around at times with a lack of focus.......and some of the songs are a bit to frantic sounding to allow them to sink in.

im gonna give it some more time but so far i'm a bit disappointed.

That is a cool tune,is it 1978 again?Always a big Hammer fan back in the day.Neal is talented I would say my favorite Neal era is with the first incarnation of Journey ,pre Perry. Now that band took rock and progressive to a very high level!Neal was the goods on those first two albums.

I'm going to post something later.  But yes, I really am digging on this tune.

I'm right there with you Gary, lets jump in Doc Brown's DeLorean and travel back to 1978, ha ha
I want to see Neil have his Afro again smile

I loved the first incarnation progressive sound of Journey. I have seen Neil geez over 40 times, and he is just such a nice guy.  Always loves to be playing and gives it his all.

And by the way Gary, your Avatar makes me smile smile  For some reason this morning it just had me laughing.

Take Care, The AfroCat^-^
