Topic: A little blues for the new day...

Hi All,

I haven't posted any sounds for a while, so thought I'd share a little morning jamming over one of my favorite Joe tracks...

Tone is R7 straight into Boogie Lone Star with an El Cap in the loop for some echo. Audio/video is just iPhone.

Thanks for listening!

The guitar is a '57 RI that was made for me (I have endorsement with Gibson) with a '59 profile neck and BB1 and BB3 pickups. It is very lightweight at 8.0lbs (no weight relief or clambering). I've been playing this one a lot as my R9 is getting finished up at Historic Makeovers (it'll have Joe's sig pickups in it when it gets back).

Cheers,
-Matt

I'm having the full RDS done, but without the weather checking or scratches/dings. It'll still have vintage patina, etc. It'll have the nylon nut and my choice of frets. I also had Kim send it out to Joe Glaser for a Plek. Most of the work is done now and it is just getting into paint. I have a very specific look that I'm going for and Kim has been working with me to get that sorted. It was a fantastic guitar to start out with, so I'm really looking forward to getting the guitar back! ;-)

Mine was actually getting done at the same time as one of Joe's...

How are you enjoying yours, Ron? Which pickups did you settle on? I had been considering the Throbaks and then my lovely wife surprised me with the Bonamassa sigs, which I think is going to work out perfectly.

Cheers,
