Topic: Great News from Cindyron!

A fellow fan of Joe's Ron Connatser (y'all know him as Cindyron) has shown me one of the greatest acts of generosity I've ever seen.

Ron is sending me something from the USA, here is the message he sent me.

Hi Stefan
Well I decided I can't leave you hanging for I don't know how long so here is what is going down.
I have been searching for a young individual in their teens that possess the passion and understand what the blues is all about. This person must be humble, focused and always willing to give back. Also this individual is forging ahead and will help Joe and I keep the blues alive. For me to understand the blues one needs to be born with this untanglable something inside to really understand what the blues is all about. This person must have a big heart and willing to put others first and as their career grows to always be humble and look for opportunities to give back. I have been looking for sometime then I ran across you, watched your Youtube video's, your passion in your playing the possibilities you possess and your contributions to the fight against cancer.
So I have been working with Joe and I tried to have it shipped to his hotel in Adeliade before the show for him to give it to you but because of customs we just could not make it happen.
So somehow, worse case Joe will bring it next time he is down under, I will get this to you.
So with all that said:
I am very fortunate to own several of Joe's Gibson custom shop LP and I have been looking for the right young guitarist that possess all the qualities stated above and that is you.
So I have a JB Goldtop sister s/n 164 that's new home will be in Adelade Australia owned by you. When you receive her play her often or she will get lonely. Your parents should be very proud of you.
I wish you the best I will keep you posted.
Well the cat's out of the bag not sure if that makes it easier on you.
Cheers Ron

I am so grateful!! Thank you so much Ron!

What a great guy and a beautiful soul!

Peter is saying "stoked" in his best Aussie accent.. wink

Band is on hiatus at moment but finishing up an old recording from 2 years ago which I'll add to YouTube here very shortly. Bands...the purest form of what is commonly known as a dysfunctional marriage!

One more reason why this forum is so special. Ron, a big tip of the cap to you. Your selection of Stefan is perfectly appropriate. I'm sure your gift of Joe's child will be an inspiration to Stefan and we'll be hearing some brilliant music in the future.
Dang, all warm and fuzzy again. I love it! cool

Hit the nail on the head!! I'm doing my best to be a Ron! smile

Re: Great News from Cindyron!

Reading this post just brought tears to my eyes.

Ron, you are beyond generous.  My son is a guitarist and I know how much he loves his guitars and parting with one would be a hard thing to do.  I know Joe and his music helped you according to  your posts.  Now you are paying it forward by sharing with Stefan.  Humbled by your kind gesture.  I know you will be blessed for sharing.

Stefan, Wow again.  I know this guitar will help your budding career.  So amped to hear more music from you my fine friend.   Woooooooo HOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Re: Great News from Cindyron!

Stefan, how totally wonderful for you!

I have also been a recipient of some of Ron's graciousness.  Never got a JB guitar!  but he is a true gem.  Ron, this is way over the top and you are to be commended to the max.

Yes, I too have quickly come to learn that Forum mates are the best supportive family ever.
