Topic: [NPD] Lazy J Cruiser - Need some advice though...

Hey all,

I managed to score a Lazy J Cruiser pedal from a TGP member.  This is the newer 2 knob version.  Unfortunately, the pedal shipped to me without any instructions, and I am trying to work things out by 'feel'.

Does anyone on here know how the two switches work with each other?  Is the right hand switch just an extra boost?  It doesn't seem to affect the tone unless the first switch is on.  Also, any ideas on what the three way mini toggle switch does?

I could contact Lazy J directly I guess, but unsure of how he feels about supporting pedals that weren't bought direct from him.

All in all, it is a really cool pedal - I am comparing it against my Analogman King of Tone, and it doesn't seem as gainy or angry, but gives me a cleaner boost.  It is nowhere near as noisy as some of my other pedals either (OCD, T-Rex Moller).

You are not wrong!  I emailed him today, and got a terrific (long) reply on how to use the pedal effectively.  He really went out of his way and took a lot of time to explain the workings, and considering that I bought the pedal second hand and he didn't make a cent from me, I think that is OUTSTANDING customer service.

Now... to save up for a Lazy J amp... big_smile
