I sure as hell don't get the "Firebird Inspired Joe Bonamassa"

Yeah, Joe has and plays some Gigliotti's but I've never seen him with that model.

Steve Vai had those weird frets on his Jem a few years back. They looked cool but he didn't stick with them obviously. They're supposed to correct the minor pitch variations you get with certain chords compared to others all while being in correct tuning.
