Topic: is reissue Les Paul 59 only with BB 1 and BB 2 ???

Hi every one !!

i would like to know if it´s possible to buy a r9 LP with  BB 2 & BB 3 or Gibson Custom Shop make r9 only with BB 1 & BB 2 ??

You could order one directly from Gibson Custom Shop with different pickups.

Any dealer I'm sure would change them for you at no charge if it meant them making a deal.

Give your local dealer a call to find out if this is possible for you and if there would be a "custom order" up charge. I've had this sort of thing done for me, but I am a Gibson artist, so other rules may apply. If there is an up charge (my guess), than you may consider whether or not it is more cost effective and/or of greater benefit to be able to choose a Les Paul that you love (rather than order one) and have a tech (or DIY) swap the pickups.

I think this might be the cheapest option rather than a custom order - and you can pick from a range of guitars.

You actually only need one pickup (if the leads are long enough to swap the bridge to the neck - anyone know?).
