Topic: Lindy Fralin Bridge Pick Up

I haven't posted for awhile but wanted to share some good fortune.  I had a post awhile back about a bad experience with Lindy Fralin pick ups.  But I now want to state that my opinion has changed due to efforts by Mr. Fralins tech Bill who went out of his way to make things right again.  Bill is a gem in the customer service realm.
But the biggest reason I am posting is that the replacement pick up they sent me is the best pick up I have used.  I don't play my strats anymore, I am stuck on my Gibson Flying V now due to the Fralin pick up.  It is a 9.5k PAF and it is the most expressive and articulate pick up I have ever played.  Very volume knob responsive with beef when you need it but clarity throughout the whole range.  I used to be stuck on high output pickups and I have to admit it was for the extra gain to cover up my mistakes.   As I age I get more into the musicality of my guitars and tones, and this pick up is very musical!

Re: Lindy Fralin Bridge Pick Up

Cool story man!  I'm glad your happy with Lindy Fralin and Bill oh and of course the V ;P  I had a V once, and it was always a joy but mine had issues staying in tune.  Oh and I liked it because it has after market humbucker that the previous owner put in it.  I always played Fender amps so when this guitar hit the front end of the amp it really kicked the 12AX7's buttocks!

Joe Bonamassa Forum:

Award-winning blues rock star, guitar hero and singer-songwriter Joe Bonamassa's BluRay release, Joe Bonamassa Live From The Royal Albert Hall, a stunning live set. The film, released on May 19th by Bonamassa's record company J&R Adventures, captures the intensity and excitement of the May 2009 show that marked Bonamassa s headlining debut at arguably the most prestigious concert venue in the world. May 4, 2009 was a day 20 years in the making, says Bonamassa. I have never been so honored in my life. It was truly larger than the sum of its parts.

At the Hall, Bonamassa had the added honor of being joined onstage by the legendary Eric Clapton. The Guitar Buzz calls it, A must-have BluRay release for any Joe Bonamassa fan and frankly, any person who plays the guitar and appreciates instrumental mastery at work. Joe Bonamassa is to the guitar what Liberace was to the piano. He's a 6-string maestro. And Brian D. Holland writes in Guitar International, It s not only a momentous occasion for Joe Bonamassa, it s one for bluesrock in general.

This live set, which features a twelve-camera high definition, surround sound shoot produced by Kevin Shirley (Led Zeppelin, Black Crowes, Aerosmith) and an exclusive interview and behind-the-scenes footage with Bonamassa, presents that magical night in full for posterity, and for all the fans that couldn t be among the roughly 5,000 concertgoers filling the seats.

Bonamassa performs with a combination of searing excellence and showmanship that underlined exactly why he has risen to the top of the most punishing circuit in popular music today.

Re: Lindy Fralin Bridge Pick Up

I'm not sure what that means... Does J&R employ spammers, and one of the webcrawls hit our own forum?
The spam is SO clever that I'm terribly confused! ahhhh.. nevermind, I see a link at the bottom. without clicking on it - i was able to see where it goes. cool Spam that has nothing to do with Joe whatsoever.
