it'll probably arrive while i'm traveling for work most of next week and then i'll be away for a mini vacation for the weekend. a fried will be house sitting and will probably get to play it before i do!! more pics and a tone report coming asap! these pics are from the seller.

possibly. i know he has number one of the new kelley amps, but i don't know if he has the first of the originals. i also don't know how many amps were in kelley's original line up. i'm going to send pics to jon suhr and jim kelley once the amp arrives. hopefully they can tell me more about the amp.
I actually have 6 Kelley amps.... I have the prototype new Kelley in head form and 5 original combos from the late 70's early 80's... Thats a great score with the Jim Kelley road case to boot.. These amps are way under valued and sound awesome with any guitar... The new ones are just as good too... Im really happy Jim is back and making amps again..

so usps may have lost the amp. it's now two days late and usps has no idea where it is. two late late means they've missed 4 delivery opportunities (usps delivers to my office twice a day). i've placed a trace on the package. usps is supposed to give me an update by 5pm, but i called at 4 and still nothing. i'll call around 515 or so and i'm sure they'll just say we have no more info.
hopefully it will show up monday, but w/ everyday that goes by it just makes me think it won't be found. if it is found, i hope it's in working condition. i usually don't have a problem w/ usps, but everytime i have had an issues, the package has been destroyed...like a piece of the original box the package was in comes in a plastic bag saying "sorry, but your package has been destroyed in transit" or something like that.
keep your fingers crossed!!!!

the seller fully insured it. it arrived yesterday and everything looks in order! my tech is going to give it a once over this weekend. a tone report will be coming once he's had a chance to look it over.
also, i sent pics over to john suhr and jim kelley. jim wrote back saying everything looks original except for a shielded wire and a little piece of electrical tape. he also confirmed that the amp is about 30 years old given the serial number. once my tech give it a good bill of health, i can't wait to try it out at stage volume! i'll post a few more pick tonight, too.
