Topic: Marshall Guv'nor and Pro Co Rat

So my guitar buddy in my band has decided to buy a vintage Marshall Guv'nor form 89' I think.  Anybody got an opinion or setting suggestion?

He also purchased a Pro Co Rat that is from 1987.  He is playing a 94' Peavey 4-10 classic and either a Les Paul Standard or a Telecaster American Deluxe.  His plan is to have a clean sounding amp and use one or both of these pedals for heavier tones.  Its been suggested that he use the Guv'nor as a Rhythm and the Rat as a lead.

Re: Marshall Guv'nor and Pro Co Rat

The Guv is one of the best pedals I played through that I wish I owned. The thing just barks. My bro has an old one from around that same time period. You'll love it.

Re: Marshall Guv'nor and Pro Co Rat

I have a Rat and love it, but I always wanted a Guv as well.  I blame Gary Moore for that.
