Topic: My bands picks

http://i321.photobucket.com/albums/nn38 … G_0339.jpg

So my band is playing around 2 gigs a month right now playing the country/classic rock format.  Recently we got in the business of selling decals and Tee shirts.  Soon we are going to be selling our demo disc we give out to the bars to get auditions and posters.  Well now I am happy to say I came up with the idea of making picks with our logo on it.  I'm not selling them on here or nothing I just thought they looked cool and wanted to share a pictures of it.

How did I do it?  At work I operate at laser that is used to serialize parts at work, but you can also upload logo's as jpg. files.  So I pull our logo off our facebook site and copied it to the software.  Next I had to turn on a red laser that you see scan stuff at checkout counters a lot.  This projects the image that you are going to mark so you can line it up like you want it... skip that step if you have a fixture to put the pick in the same way every time.  Next you select marking laser and it burns the image on the guitar pick.  It smokes up a lot and stink so don't breath and have a vent open.  Last take some paint and color in the image.  After the paint dries you can take a razor blade and scrap the excess paint off the pick.  That's it.

I wish I could take credit for it but I can't.  They came up with that 4 or 6 months before I joined.
