Topic: Saturday nights all right!

The best day of the week for most of us, right? Well check this out, tonight I got the crib to myself, Tyson lying around after munchin up a killer dog bone.

I'm goin to the garage where no one can ever try and controll me! My neighbor across the street just dropped off the newest Sammy Hagar disc for me to check out. Got the 25 year old fischer system hooked up, speakers mounted to the ceiling. ( them old 100 watters still rock the house )

You still reading my stuff or what?........ Well good, cuz I like talkin, and aint no humans round! Got some ice cold heineken waiting for this dry throat. It hit 90 in Sac town today, way to hot way to early.

Two oil changes, tire rotations on the list tonight, no giggin, theres a time to play and a time to stay!

That all folks!.............Dave

P. S. ....Wud you do with the inside of that jacket on that Cheech-n Chong album, you know what I'm talkin bout! There was no glue, or was there? Did you twist it up?

since you put this in the wrong section, I'll make it related to Joe by mentioning how Sammy's son Aaron was in Bloodline at one time but didn't stay with the band long.
I have a Bloodline shirt with his name on it. i didn't know of Joe then but I did buy the shirt from Joe a few years ago, and the autograph on it has the full signature where he writes out all the letters instead of a few whooshes.

Your right, wrong section got no excuse, was not even drinking at the time!.   My jaw just dropped when I read what you just posted. My neighbors across the street, who brought the disk over are real tight with Aaron. The are at his house in Lake Tahoe all the time. I cant wait to run this by them. I burned a compilation of Joe for him, he has it cranked all the time!

Check this out, Todd my neighbor looks as close to a clone of Sammy as anyone you will ever see. Dudes got "red rocker' tats, on his cars, etc. I was just jawing with him last night, we were laughing at ourselves. He has done the whole, tried to play this instrument or that, and blows as bad as I do! His musicians buddies around town are begging him to take some vocal lessons. They want to do a tribute band to Sammy, he is to damn scared though. They got a karaoke machine but he still wont even try to hear himself sing.

Thanks.........Dave

Re: Saturday nights all right!

Hey Shred, Is that me at the bottom of your list?  If so, I'm looking forward to some new goodies. Gotta hook Paul up for the BDS. My new favorite. How bout you? I sent him a nice stack of asst. tunes.

On this fine September 15th wifey and I are going to look at an old farm house about 15 miles outside of Pittsburgh.  Been house hunting for about 6 months now and this one looks promising.  Oh yeah, it's also our 17 year anniversary. Wouldn't change a thing.  And her 50th birthday is next week.  Gotta get busy and hit the stores.

Take care everyone. And if I don't meet you no more in this world
Then ill, I'll meet you in the next one and don't be late, don't be late

Shred,

9:13 AM already watchin' Mich. St./Pitt, can't get enough college ball. Got a full dance card, after I crank out a disc of Joe's mellower and acoustic stuff for the girl's at the wine bar (they won't play the other stuff I gave them at certain times). First stop, Dr. Dickie's office to pick up my script for the club, gotta maintain the appetite startin' Mon., then Buckeye's/Wash. 12:30, Stu sent me a smack-mail on this one, but we decided it could go either way. Then I'm off to Martinez (birthplace of the martini & Joltin' Joe DiMaggio) for a block party (18th annual), They better have a TV fired up @ 3:30 for Cal/LA Tech. After dinner it's back to Benicia for a B-day party for one of the wine bar cuties @ 8:00. Sounds like a bender, but not really since I've had to shut it down do save all I got for the good fight. Hope I've got something left in the tank for a good friends 50th tomorrow at her new time share up in Napa. Denise reserved 3 rooms so eveybody can watch their favorite NFL game. She'll be watchin' the Redskins, She's a Baltimore girl to the bone (pre Ravens). every time the skins score, no matter where we're at she goes into Fight For Old DC complete with leg kick to finish it off. If you could bottle her energy you could light your house up. Time to get busy.

Re: Saturday nights all right!

Shred, as per usual the new Sammy Hagar disc (you write disk, I write disc, let's not call the whole thing off) really rocks.  I had several occaisions of mistaken identity of being Sammy Hagar in the 80's, some very adamant and insistent...Always in SoCal, never NorCal...
