Topic: Pittsburgh Show, May 12

This was my second show, and REALLY enjoyed it. Equally or more impressive than the Baltimore show last fall. We already have our Washington DC tickets for Nov. Overall the experience was incredible, but if I were to score certain aspects, they would be as follows (scale of 1-5, 5 being the best):

Sound: 4.8
Seemed a tad too loud, drowning out the vocals a little.

Lighting: 5
Not sure who handled the lighting, but well incorporated into the show. A nice compliment to the music which the baltimore show did not have.

Audience: 3.5
Sorry, not trying to make any enemies but there was too much shouting (I paid to hear Joe), moving around, and smart phone glow.

Don't get me wrong, I'm blown away by this guy. But my one nit about the show was his back was turned to the audience a little too much in my opinion. I'd like to SEE the magic he's performing as much as possible.

Had an awesome time, and look forward to many more!
Thanks for your incredibly hard work Joe.

Hey Bill, thanks for your take on the show.  Not complaining, but yes, some of the vocals were drowned out.  Those damn vintage Les Pauls are so loud lol

I think it was Baltimore last year where Joe made a comment about  one individual's alcohol consumption that seemed to be contributing to the shouting.  It seems to be a trend, but I'm with you, shhhhhhhhhhhhhh, the MAN is trying to work!  In previous years Joe had no problem hushing the crowd.   Last year in Pittsburgh I sat next to a guy that giggling through "Heartaches"!  Please!!!!!!

On a scale of 1-5, I gave the show a 10 smile

p.s. we'll be in DC also.

The sound did improve after Slow Train.  But did the vocals get totally washed during "Paid" as we could barely hear then, but we were also standing for the song.

Yeah Jim, I'd agree with the 10 rating overall for sure! See you in DC.
