Topic: The build of my Hanson/Shelton Guitar is complete

One of my goals for this year was to somehow inspire some of the younger crowd to the blues and specifically Joe's music. So I had been introduced to these two young guys (Adam Hanson >works on my guitars and Chris Shelton my go to guy for guitars) about a year ago and after getting to know them they have been trained in guitar building and had that fire in their belly and passion to build guitars but never had the opportunity since completing training. So I thought what a great way to help them along and to introduce them to the blues and Joe's music but to have them build a guitar for me. I challenged them to make a guitar better then my one off custom butterscotch LP. Well pictures are worth a thousand words so look at the slide show I put together accompanied by Joe Bonamassa's "Driving towards the daylight". They put this guitar in my hands three days ago and I was blown away. I returned the favor and invited them to come with me to show Joe their work on May 22nd in Providence at a meet and greet that I have from lytho purchases. They are totally besides themselves that they will not only meet Joe but he will see their creation. Also this thing sings I have the new JB Seymore pups in the tone in amazing. To see this start as blocks of wood to this is unreal.
Thanks to Adam and Chris you talent and passion shows in your creation and I would like to thank Joe for his inspiration and his music that has helped me through a very rough road the past two years. And of course my angel in heaven my wife Cindy. I am sure she is behind all that has happened to me to help me move forward.
