Topic: R5 with PAF or 2012 Standard with Push/pull Bursbucker Alnico 5 !!

i try yesterday on the musik shop few Gibson Les Paul and when i tried the R5 that was not easy to take it off my hand !!!
What a great Sound (i played only accoustic,no amp) great feeling to have it in The hand asweel,but The price,high of course,but it's worth it!!

And last week i saw on Gibson web,The new 2012 Standard with few great new future but didn't try yet ,
Difficult to visit those Two but à R5 it's with PAF pickups i believe ??? How good are they !!! (are all PAF good ......???)
My ears like The R5 and blues but with push/pull that make singlecoil,it's can help to play some funky Music asweel !!!

get the R5.. I am not a big fan of the latest standards. R5's are awesome.

Definitely the R5, more so with the PAF's. The new standards IMHO take away the simple elegance of a regular Les Paul. But hey, thats why they have the Traditionals!
