Topic: A Tele made specially for Joe on eBay...

Just saw this post by Joanne Shaw Taylor - I believe she is selling one of two Nash Hyde Park Tele's that were made specially for Joe.  This looks to be the second one of two made that was originally given to Joe's former guitar tech?!?

Nice! Although the fretboard wear looks a little suspect. I'm a real snob when it comes to synthetic fretboard wear. they got the body stuff down pretty well.

Wish I had the cash... I just picked up a Stonetree that was made for Joe in 2005.

No offense to the OP but what makes this ebay listing JST's? Or proof it's one of Joe's guitars for that matter? If y'all want to get excited by all means bid away! But where's the proof? So someone puts Joe's name in a auction makes it official? Please!!! Be careful in your excitement or you'll likely lose a lot of money over a parts-caster.

I'm no longer on FB so I can't say one way or another from that. I do know this, it's like the third time this guitar has been offered on ebay. Please do diligence and if you think the guitar is worth it, then it's all up to you and your wallet. It's not up me to say otherwise.

I can confirm the listing is correct, it is a very nice guitar? i had first dibbs at it but sadly the wrong time financially, otherwise I ouod have snatched it up.

I agree with spider on this nowhere in the listing do I get a warm and fuzzy that it is related to Joe. Although tempting I would pass.

But I would like to point out that its a Bill Nash guitar not a parts o caster.  So even if it didn't have anything to do with Joe at its current bid I'd say its a bargan.  Nash guitars go for $1800 most of the time.  Plus this one looks like Claptons Tele from Blind Faith if I had money I'd bid on it.
