Topic: What song shall I cover next?
Any suggestions of what song I should cover next; whether it be Bonamassa himself, or another artist. It shall be posted on my youtube channel @ www.YouTube.com/GaryParkerMusic
Thanks :-)

Gary - dude - you've already got this topic, there's really no need to start a new one for another cover! Your new topic post is copied below.
Hi there, me again!

Hey Gary I watched over an hour of you tube on you yesterday.....please come on out to Sacramento, the "Torch Club" would be the place for you to get all the recognition from your fellow musicians as well as big fans like myself
See ya soon??

How do you feel about Michael Schenker?

Well, he's a lad that's "had problems" that have effected his consistancy, but a listen to Rock Bottom is always worthwhile.
Ritchie Blackmore is also a name that doesn't get a mention too often, but be honest, how many times have you found yourself banging out Smoke...... In the Rainbow days, he did a couple of instrumentals that I always liked, Weiss Heim and Vielleicht Das Nachster Mal. Dig them out and see what you think...sorry haven't time to dig out a link for you.
Mike
Edit - yes I do have time:-

Cheers for the links, I will check them out soon! I do like a bit of Ritchie Blackmore though yes!
I'm maybe thinking of covering some Brian May solo's...what would y'all think of that? :-)
Brian May - not one of my favourites: I have to be in a certain frame of mind to listen to Queen, but another great. Be interesting to see if you can get that "orchestral" sound of his.
You just reminded me, somewhere in the dark recesses of the attic, in the remains of my vinyl, I think I have the 1983(ish) Star Fleet Project mini-album that Brian May did, I think its one of the 1st things he did outside Queen. It's billed as Brian May & Friends; one friend is Eddie Van Halen.....say no more!!! There's a CD version with extra tracks, including 2 takes of the music he did for a Ford ad, Driven By You, and a few unremarkable fillers - think the Japanese Cd is worth around £100. Shame the vinyl's only worth £2.....
Mike
How about this one? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaVVZYOvMFY

Yes I have! That song, and performance is so powerful and emotive. It hooks me every time. Ranks VERY high on my all-time list...

Yeah, I agree about being in 'the right frame of mind' to listen to Queen.
Woa, Vinyl sounds great, might have to check out the CD version! £2 for the vinyl?! Disgrace.
P.s I do love a good bit of EVH

Ahh you've reminded me of Andy Timmons! Completely disregarded him haha!
As for the song - Love it, would be a challenge but, Hey! Why not. This could be on the cards, maybe if not...what do you think of 'Electric Gypsy'?
