Topic: Norman Watt Roy

Currently in tour with Wilko Johnson. Norman Watt Roy, my god what a bass player. Has to be in my top 2 of all time. I must also add that we could dream to be on tour with a nicer bunch of guys, its surreal!

Thinking of catching him at Bridport later this month.Has he still got Steve Howe's son on drums?

and whilst we are looking back...(well I am) here's Wilko with Dr Feelgood, a band that I saw live many times as they were always touring...and Lee was always smoking....watch Wilko go at 2 mins 11 or so

See what you mean - where some bassists stand stock still or others "shuffle" Norman ceratinly has a stance that's all his own; but my God, he can play. I've seen guys all over the music spectrum like Stu Hamm and Chris Squire and Billy Sheehan and I'd put NWR toward the top of the heap.
