Topic: RIP Michael Hossack

Sad news out of Doobie Bros. headquarters in Sonoma, Ca. today. Longtime Doobie Bros. drummer Michael Hossack lost his battle with cancer yesterday @ his home in Wyoming. Michael played with the Doobs from '71-'73 and rejoined the band in '87. he "cheated the hangman" in June 2001 when he crashed his Harley on the way to a gig in Lake Tahoe. he was diagnosed with cancer in 2010 and took a leave from the band to battle this disease. Michael was a Navy vet who served during the Vietnam War and was 65 years old.

Re: RIP Michael Hossack

Another fallen rocker.  '71 to '73 were the Doobies most fertile years.  RIP Michael - 65 isn't that old, but I'm sure the ride was a good one.
