Topic: Greetings from the Northwest!

Hi everyone, I’m Kat and I live in Seattle. Yep, another guitarist. Been playing about 25 years. I first heard Joe on TV, the  Royal Albert Hall concert on the public TV station. Completely blew me away. I watched it just about every time it aired.  I wish I had discovered Joe sooner so I could be like the cool kids, but the great part for me is how many albums I get to check out! I now have 6 or so, and am buying them as paychecks allow. I love it all! Joe’s solo stuff, BCC, Beth Hart, you name it I cannot get enough.  (can't wait for the Beacon DVD!)

My husband and I got to see Joe at the Seattle Paramount, December 15, 2011. Great venue, amazing show. We had 8th row and I didn’t want the night to end!

I've been a lurker on the forums here, and it seems there are a nice group of folks with some great taste in music, so here I am!

Hello Kat and welcome.

My wife and I saw Joe the night before in Portland and I'm sure you're show was as fantastic as ours.

Hi Kat,

A very warm welcome from another recent addition from the UK - and many thanks for your welcome on my introduction.

I'm exactly the same - I've bought nearly every CD - brilliant. However, they're all beginning to get worn out now from the constant playing!! Really looking forward to seeing Joe in the UK in March.

Re: Greetings from the Northwest!

Thanks for the warm welcome, stefanhauk, cindyron (your story was amazing!), conorb (yes the show was fantastic, wish I went to both Seattle AND Portland), and susan2105! I've found myself wearing out the live CDs first. I like different things about each CD that I have, and I think I only need two more to complete my collection!

The thing that has made me most happy, however, is the new-found inspiration to play. Family schedules, work, just life in general gets in the way, and it is easy to forget things that we like to do. Joe has re-inspired me, to say the least, and I am very grateful for that.
