Amen to that.
time to play 'Midnight Blues'
Where has the time gone!
for those of you who are not aware his son Jack is doing his part to keep his fathers memory alive, - he played Emerald on stage with TL last Friday, - this is his Facebook page:

edited to add, - you will see that Jack is also a fan of Joe if you look at his FB page, - and a very polite young man; he took the trouble to thank me for my YouTube video of him being introduced on stage.
Back to the subject of Gary, - wow what an artist he was, - I took some time to listen again to his solo on "Still in Love with You", - the one that allegedly Robbo would not record again because GM's was perfect. It is perfect, and he should still be playing today.
I'm sure some of us here will never forget that intimate Charlotte Street Blues gig - here's one of Pete's vids as a reminder................the music lives on..........
Was listening to all my Gary favorites last night, including Still in Love with You (and I agree Ian). Especially love his slow blues. One of my favorite solos is in I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know! Remembered a Gary video Pete did last year and didn't know where to find it (thanks Eldo).
Isn't there still another Pete vid out there somewhere, a tribute?

Was it this?
Here's a good 3-video series on Gary:

Edit to add: Nevermind, it appears the videos have been pulled down. Too bad, it was a great series...
From a small pub in Brighton...

Thanks for posting, great videos of one of the best
players ever !!!
Gary Moore has been my main influence from the early 80's...and it was SGTB album that turned that got me into bluesrock and its still my favorite bluesrock album to this day.....i've been lucky enough in the past to have seen Gary perform in large venues and even in a small marque in a carpark in small town where his PG Les Paul was just sitting just infront me,there has been imo guitarist that have come and gone over the years, but none have even come close too Gary Moore!
Gary would have been 60 today. His memory and music must be kept alive.
Today a Gary Moore Memorial concert is taking place in Budapest, Hungary.
It shall be the first concert of a memorial serie.
Family, friends, musicians and fans will be there.
